Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp is born March 19 1848. Wyatt is one of five sons. (Newton, James, Virgil, Wyatt, Morgan and Warren). Nicholas Earp was his father and Virginia Ann Earp was his mother.

Pima County Deputy Sheriff (July -November 1880)

On July 27, 1880 Wyatt Earp was appointed deputy sheriff of Pima County by Sheriff Charles Shibell.

Wyatt Earp worked for only a few months as a deputy sheriff. During this time he showed that he was an effective and respected lawman.
